20 IX 2019 - EU court confirms BPA as endocrine disruptor

Last 20 IX the General Court of the European Union has dismissed the case brought by industry association Plastics Europe against the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) about bisphenol A (BPA). This was second case brought by Plastics Europe regarding BPA. 

The court confirmed BPA as a substance of very high concern (SVHC) due to its reproductive toxicity. BPA is the main chemical used to produced polycarbonate (PC).
