1 XI 2014 - Greif & Hodmeter

Hodmeter is marketing Greif bottles since 2005.

Considering BPA risk and as the copolyester bottles did not demonstrate to be the best alternative to pack water in 5 gallon, Hodmeter is developping the PET solution: bottle line production (RSBM) and the related preforms. Hodmeter invested in PET preforms production. This strategy could create some confusion with Greif policy in water bottles so we decided to stop our partnership in the bottles area to avoid any conflict from today.

It was a difficult decision for me. The Greif service and quality levels are high. But as I believe the future is PET for BPA free bottles. I really appreciated to work with Greif team.
